KUTOA Delivers 5,760 Health Bars to At-Risk Students (Austin, TX)

Austin, TX - KUTOA Health Bars recently donated over 5,760 health bars to the students at Austin Can Academy in Austin, TX.

Austin Can Academy is a non-profit organization operating a public charter high school in Austin, TX. Austin Can Academy provides a second-chance education for at-risk student who have struggled in a traditional high school setting. Students learn in a non-threatening environment, receive focused attention, and work toward receiving a high school diploma.

Austin Can Academy’s mission is to provide the highest quality education for all students, especially those who have struggled in a traditional high school setting, in order to ensure their economic independence.

KUTOA’s mission to empower change through health goes hand-in-hand with Austin Can Academy’s efforts to empower change through education, as these students need access to quality nutrition throughout their days.

Austin Can Academy will set up a KUTOA station to allow students to grab a healthful snack before and after school. KUTOA bars will also be available to students that participate in athletics and community events. 

KUTOA looks forward to partnering with other local organizations, in order to further empower the youth through health, both inside and outside of the US.
